  • Contactless Registration Options

    The traditional name badge is replaced with an identification-only printed name tag/badge and a virtual badge that resides on the registrant’s smartphone. The virtual badge and/or print at home badge is used to gain access to the event floor and into sessions and for lead retrieval purposes.

  • ● At-home name tag / badge printing

    • Registrants print their own name tag or badge at home. The tag can be customized to match the event’s branding.
    • When onsite, the name tag is folded by the registrant to fit into the plastic badge holder used with a lanyard.
    • On-demand remote contactless printers are available for name tag/badge reprints onsite.

  • ● Smartphone virtual badge

    • Registration confirmation includes a link for the registrant to add their virtual badge to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay.
    • The virtual badge will include a QR Code to be scanned for event floor and session access and for lead retrieval purposes.
  • Contact-Limited Registration Option

         Traditional registration areas will be set up for full-service registration and express badge printing.

         Registration counters will be limited to one registration station for physical distancing. Rope and stanchion will be set up accordingly.

         Remote registration locations will be added to reduce foot traffic in the main registration areas. 

         Registration badge printers will be outward-facing so registrants can remain a safe distance away from the registration staff.

         Registrants can print their badge from contactless express registration kiosks or mobile carts.

  • ● Registration Kiosks, Mobile Carts, and Express Registration Tablets

    • Kiosks include a tablet, scanner, and badge printer for contactless printing. The registrant simply scans their QR code to print their badge.

    • Antimicrobial screen protectors will be included with all tablets.
    • Upgraded facial recognition software can be used for self-service badge printing, no longer requiring an ID for verification
  • Contactless Lead Retrieval
    •  CompuLEAD Kiosk – a self-serve, contactless badge scanning product that can be placed anywhere in an exhibit space. Attendees can walk up to the kiosk and scan either their physical badge or their virtual badge.
    •  CompuLEAD product suite – exhibitors can enter the attendee’s badge number (found on the printed name tag, printed badge, or virtual badge) from a safe distance away directly into the lead retrieval app to capture their contact information instead of scanning a QR code in the traditional manner.

  • Show Floor Attendance Tracking
    • Track show floor attendance using CSI’s Access Control / Tracking app. The real-time counts will be available within the app.

  • Staggered Check-in Times

         For Exhibitors: while registering, exhibitor key-contacts will be required to choose a specific time window and location to pick up all the badges for their organization. Registration staff will prepare the badges ahead of time and the key contact will pick them up at the designated location and distribute to their team.

         For Attendees: while registering, attendees will be required to choose a specific time window and location to pick up their badge. The time they select will appear on their registration confirmation that they will add to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay. When they arrive at registration, they will be required to show their scheduled pickup time to the Guard before proceeding to the express badge pickup area.
