Objective:
The 2024 PRINTING United Expo, a leading event in the printing and graphic arts industry, aimed to:
- Foster stronger exhibitor-attendee engagement;
- Offer a streamlined, self-serve method for attendees to access exhibitor content;
- Enable exhibitors to capture attendees’ contact details via QR code scans to expand
marketing reach.
Solution:
PRINTING United partnered with CompuSystems (CSI) to offer the M3 Expo Wallet for their event, held September 10-12, 2024 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. CSI distributed over 800 exhibitor QR codes that attendees scanned to access digital content. M3 Expo Wallet allowed attendees to view, save, and retrieve exhibitor information on their smartphones, offering a convenient, accessible way to engage with content throughout the show.
PRINTING United leveraged CSI’s marketing kit, which included tailored website copy, email assets, registration confirmations, and onsite signage. CSI also produced an explainer video to drive exhibitor adoption as part of PRINTING United’s marketing campaign.
Gamification:
To boost participation, CSI and PRINTING United introduced gamification. Monitors promoted M3 Expo Wallet and a daily drawing, rewarding two winners—one attendee and one exhibitor—with $100 AMEX gift cards.
Impact and Results:
- Engagement: 15,846 total scans during the 3-day event.
- Lead Generation: Exhibitors saw a 20% increase in sales leads.
- Efficiency: Attendees effortlessly accessed exhibitor information on their phones, enabling them
to seamlessly track and manage their event journey - Flexibility: Attendees retrieved exhibitor content at their convenience, enhancing their experience.
Conclusion:
CSI’s M3 Expo Wallet at the 2024 PRINTING United Expo successfully enhanced attendee-exhibitor engagement while embracing digital solutions. By achieving its objectives, M3 Expo Wallet set a new standard for distributing content, capturing leads, and fostering engagement through event technology.
